Description

Pot with poured and incised decoration. Mouth diameter 8.4 cm; base diameter 9.0 cm; height 19.7 cm. Base inscription (English translation): 'We masters of the folk arts and crafts guild should seek the forms and decorations of our old crafts, to make the contribution for which the guild was established. P. Gigov, village of Busintsi.' 3D digital representation of a ceramic work in the Petar Gigov collection. Descriptions and inscriptions have been translated from the Bulgarian source. The physical artwork is attributed to Petar Gigov. Model code W17 identifies the source file; it is not a verified museum inventory number.
